Who am i

My name is Ayorinde Gabriel and I am currently a first year Sports Management student at the University of Derby with a passion for the business side of sports. I have been fascinated by the way sports bring people together, inspire communities, and create opportunities both on and off the field. I have also always been actively involved in sports, whether as a participant or fan. My interest in sports extends beyond the game itself as I am particularly drawn to areas such as marketing and sponsorship. I enjoy analyzing how clubs and organizations operate, develop their brands, and connect with fans to create memorable experiences. As part of my studies, I have already gained valuable industry experience through a work placement at Derby County Football Club. During this placement, I worked in the marketing, commercial, ticketing, and community trust departments, where I developed key skills in communication, time management, and problem-solving.
